About the event
"There's nothing quite as useless as doing with great efficiency something that should never be done." (Peter Drucker)
The process of selecting and prioritizing projects to make up the organization's portfolio must consider the level of alignment of the projects with the objectives and strategies defined by the organization in its strategic planning, in order to optimize the allocation and use of organizational resources in initiatives that enhance the achievement of their strategic objectives.
Surveys conducted worldwide show that high-performance organizations in projects have, among their characteristics, projects aligned with their strategies.
PSACanvas - Project Strategic Alignment Canvas - is a tool to support the organization for the selection and collaborative prioritization of projects based on multiple selection criteria, the main one being alignment with its strategic objectives. It allows the simulation of different options of sets of projects to compose the organizational portfolio, and the choice of the best set, respecting the selection and prioritization criteria and the availability of the organization's restricted resources.
This is a workshop in which participants put into practice, based on information from a fictitious company, the proposal, selection and prioritization of projects to compose the organization's portfolio, applying the PSACanvas method and model to that end.
Practical activities include:
* Proposition of projects;
* Prioritization of projects by strategic alignment and other selection and prioritization criteria;
* Selection of the best set of projects to compose the organization's portfolio, considering the priority of projects and organizational resource constraints.
